In history, we learned that the black is the color for mourning. HOWEVER, in 1926, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel published a design of her first little black dress and that changed the history of black dresses. According to me, black is the color of mystery and morality, and for a woman, a little black dress is the anchor of style. Your LBD could be fun, trendy, sexy or elegant. Basically, LBD fits all moods of a woman!

Personally, I wanted to have a black dress that is timeless but modern chic. I had to pick up this one! It is body-fitted, has a sexy v-neck and a comfortable v-slit on the front of the dress. The first thing I knew when I saw this dress, was that I would add a broad belt to the waist but wear basic black heels with it. This trick saves you from over-doing while styling plain pieces. I added a simple watch (I would pick watches over bracelets literally at any given time!) and picked up my favorite chain sling bag. I wore golden frame shades without breaking any rules.

You know how easy it is to pick up a solid dress and style it in different ways, especially, when you are one of those divas who doesn’t want to repeat dresses but has to hold back because of a tight pocket! We all go through that I believe! Fear not! Pick up a perfect little back dress and let me know how you would style it 🙂
